Contacts are the phone numbers (and optionally email addresses) you send messages to. Organizing them well is the first step to a successful campaign.
How contacts work
Section titled “How contacts work”- A contact is a phone number with optional details such as a name, email and notes.
- Contacts can be grouped, so you can message a whole group at once.
- Every contact belongs to one organization.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”- Add contacts: one at a time or by importing a list.
- Create groups: put related contacts together.
- Use contacts as the audience for your campaigns.
Respect people’s choices
Section titled “Respect people’s choices”Always make sure you have permission to message your contacts, and honor opt-outs. People who unsubscribe are handled by Suppressions.
