Platform5 is pay-as-you-go: you only pay for what you actually use.
How you’re charged
Section titled “How you’re charged”- SMS campaigns: per message delivered. Longer messages count as more than one message part.
- Airtime and data bundles: the price shown before you confirm a purchase.
- USSD: per session, depending on menu length and network.
Failed messages are automatically refunded to your balance.
Check current rates
Section titled “Check current rates”Open Billing → Pricing in the dashboard to see the current per-country and per-operator rates, in Kenya Shillings (KES). Rates update automatically when carrier pricing changes.
Estimate a campaign cost
Section titled “Estimate a campaign cost”Before you send, the campaign screen shows an estimated cost based on your audience size and the destination rates. Use it to plan your budget.
